About

Our aim at L Curtis Art is to offer a well selected range of 20th century modern, mid century British and contemporary paintings, drawings and prints. As well as offering work by established and collectable artists such as Roy Turner Durrant, Dora Holzhandler, Patrick Hayman, Billy Childish, Alan Lowndes and Timothy Hyman, we also hold work in stock by a variety of contemporary and emerging artists who we believe have the potential to become prominent figures in their own right.

The selection of work on offer has been carefully curated and the knowledge and insight which has informed this has come about through a thirty year period of intensively studying paintings, drawings and prints. Leigh, the founder of L Curtis Art, studied Fine Art Painting at the Slade (1993-1997) and The Royal College of Art (1999-2001), and has exhibited his own work both nationally and internationally.

We are passionate about the collection of artwork we showcase and are pleased to welcome you to our website.

L Curtis Art is based in Southend-on-Sea, in the UK

If you are interested in purchasing or wish to view any of the works offered for sale please call Leigh on 07871 744208, or send an email to [email protected]. We are always happy to send further photographs of our stock if required. It may also be possible to arrange free no obligation viewings within the London area.- please contact us here for further details about this.
